I would like to share something special about myself,  I will begin blogsging more about in the upcoming weeks.  I’m not only addicted to thriftn with my insane shopping sprees my great eye for the hottest brands and the shade that I throw with my hot outfits, I also love to recreated and decorate with my insanely ridiculous throw back from the past which adore my home.

I visit the Goodwill on Friday, no sale just a good place to find home goods.  I found some special goodies for an upcoming event that I’m planning.  I will be sharing pictures from the event; however their sale is on Sunday’s if you have a membership card you can always save, if you don’t  have a Club Goodwill card, please go online and sign-up. 

It invites you into their private world of sales events and tons of daily savings,  it can be used anywehre in Southeastern Wisconsin and Illinois.

I will be sharing more about my love of home decor and design and what inspires and motivate me.

“3day’s five stores five insane experiences & sicken finds”

I want to start off by literally saying this week’s experience by far was the most insane to date.  I started off Saturday May 26th at my flavored store “Unique thrift Store” (Markham).  Sunday, Dolton location, I was there as the doors open, the people rush the store as if it was an after Thanksgiving sales.  I couldn’t believe my eyes.  I have attended more than I can count 50% sale (s) events, the people who are now attending these sales are getting more and more insane:  However despite the turn of event.  It didn’t stop me for finding some insane goodies.   I also ran into a few of my followers at the sale.  

I also attended the Village Thrift Stores on Memorial Day at three different locations. I experience the same outrageous experience at each location.  From the far south side to North Western Indiana to the North side of Chicago.  I must admit I especially enjoyed the North side location. It brought back many memories, this is where I got my start at over twenty years ago.  Great place to find jewelry and home accents and especially good for children clothing.

Tip of the Day!

Daily tips, I have got tons of compliments regarding my attire over the last month’s sense I have increase and upgraded my wardrobe.  I would like to advice that if you want to inquire a vast amount of eye catching clothing for an insanely ridiculous cost please visits your local area thrift shops several times a week, not just a few times here and there.

 I have acquire my thousands of pieces “literally” by visiting thrift shop(s) sometime on a daily bases, because they put out new items daily and it may just be your lucky day when you find that insanely adorable hot piece or pieces by making frequent trips.

Another tip, if you do it right as I do, no one would believe that you shop at the thrift store.  99.9 % of my wardrobe is from the thrift shop.  That’s from head to toe!

Another fact is that thrifty is the new trend!

When visiting any of these stores, please sign-up to be added to their email distribution.  I know that Goodwill, Unique, Spree, and Clothes Mentor offer this option to their customers. Some of the stores allow you to go online and sign-up through their website.  Their emails keep you in the loop on special sales events and my blog will keep you updated on any specials as well. 

On a recent visit to Unique Thrift Store on Sheridan Rd in Chicago, where I was admiring a LV (white monogram) doctor’s bag for $69.99.   I thought that was overpriced so I walked away, but what really got me was another item they were selling for $179.99!  I thought they must be crazy.  This store is very clean and well-organized, but ridiculously over-priced.  There was however a great overall selection of clothing, house wares, linens and purses.  I would only visit this store on Monday, which is their sale day. 

The customers at The Village Discount Thrift Store in Chicago Heights are very cut-throat. They will fight with you and steal out of your cart, especially when it is sale day.  They wait by the door, as the items come out, so they can have first pick.  Yet even with all of the madness, I have gotten some great garments and house wares out of there as well.

Even if you don’t live in the Midwest, you can still utilize these tips & tools when it comes to saving.  I have a system for saving and if you want to learn more, please feel free to ask me. 

My Insane Experience

Good day- Fellow Thriftonistas!!

I’m so anxious to share this insane finds with you, that I’m about to explode from excitement!  I find the most insane find thus far, thus far.  I was at my favorite spot “Unique” doing a little eye buying, when I went to the shoe department and found about six pairs of shoes.  Designers like Chinese Laundry, Black & White, Steve Madden, Delicious, Enlisted and the list goes on.  I was overwhelmed with excitement and joy at the same time!   

Thriftonistas, I normally only shop on sale days, but to my surprise yesterday was even better than a sale day, because of what I’m about to share with you.  I found a brand new “COACH” trench coat (tags still on it) for $49.99.  The thrifty shopper in me was screaming don’t you pay $49.99 for it, but I couldn’t pass up this awesome deal.

My tip for today is for you to check out your store on non-sale days.  I find my best designer pieces on these days. The stores aren’t crowded and you can take your time, casually shop with ease, try on your pieces and meet a friend in the process.  I know I’m all about the sales and getting a good deal, but what I got yesterday was well worth the exception to my rule.

I'm just getting started! Every piece of fashion u can think of

A little about me.  I live in  a suburb outside of Chicago and I have become a thrift store addict.  I would like to share my addiction to thrift stores.  I can't stay out of them. I sit and think of where I’m going and normally I visit the one closes to my home after I got off work during the week.  This first started a year ago when I moved into my dream home.  I would visit them to buy household items because I love to refurbish furniture.  After completing my home.  I started shopping for clothes

Now I’m totally addicted to the point that I go every day.  I'm known there my all the employees.   I will give you updates on sales for all the stores I shop at and my opinion on where the best places to get the best buys and reel deals.  Alone with pictures of my finds and prices.  I look forward to offering up good finds and hopefully inspire others to follow me as I go thru my recovery process with daily deals and weekly specials alone with how to shop and find the latest trends
